What To Do!
Where To Stay!

What To Do! America's Last Frontier offers some of the world's most spectacular tourist attractions...breathtaking views, Arctic adventures, world-class fishing and much, much more.

The state is also served by several excellent tourist-oriented web sites, many of which include interactive trip planners and opportunities to order free publications. The following list highlights some of the finest:

Travel Alaska
Sponsored by the Alaska Tourism Marketing Council, this easy-to-use site contains a wide range of helpful information from every corner of the state and features several educational (and entertaining) interactive quizzes, planners, and travel maps.

Allure Alaska
This site boasts the most extensive Alaskan resource bank on the 'net and employs three major search functions that help to direct you to the information you need. It also marks links to locations that offer online reservation systems.

See Alaska Online!
Developed and endorsed by the Alaska Visitors Association, this state features a sub-site devoted to Anchorage, Camp Kodiak's "meeting spot" and the state's largest city. See Alaska Online! also includes sections specifically for children with links to games and other edutainment opportunities.

Alaska Division of Tourism
The state's Department of Commerce and Economic Development operates this site, which includes links to state organizations as well as countless sections devoted to a wide range of topics. From Road Conditions to a Gold Rush Timeline, this site is not only useful, but also quite entertaining.

Touch Alaska!
Encouraging culturally-sensitive tourist activities, Touch Alaska! is as much a site for locals as it is a tourism connection. While it's less extensive than the previous four, it includes more "intimate" information on the state and local activities.
